Hi, I’m Ammiel, the photographer behind Photography by Ammiel.

My photography journey actually started with a long-time love for mobile photography. I enjoyed using my phone to capture people, places and moments, and over time I wanted to take my creativity to the next level.

In 2024, I decided to make that step and purchased my Sony ZV-E10. Getting my first dedicated camera opened up a whole new world for me and pushed me to take photography more seriously.

I also wanted to develop my skills beyond simply taking photos, so I invested in learning. In 2025, I graduated from Ameer Hosien's Fundamentals of Photography — Cycle 8. In 2026, I continued my development by completing Ameer Hosien's Pro Photography Class.

Alongside photography, I have a background in Information Technology, which reflects another side of who I am — I’ve always had a strong interest in technology, creativity and learning new things.

Today, I’m focused on continuing to grow as a photographer, especially in portrait photography and lighting, while creating images that allow people to see themselves in a different way.

From taking photos on a phone to owning my first camera and continuing my professional training, photography has become more than just a hobby for me. It’s a journey I’m committed to building. 📸
